winter 2008-2009

In JB's column today he said that if the winter that he imagine that can evolve, it could be the coldest dec-january since 2000-2001. Just thought id share this with you all. Here is a graph for 2000 temps and 2001 temps to see what those months were like.

snowfall for winter of 2000-2001

here is what the final total for the winter of 2001 was. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/phi/images/phl_season.gif. The following year was the bad year.

Even though January and December are cold, the other months look pretty warm. A matter of fact, didnt we only get like 6 inches of snow that year? or was that 2001-2002? one of those year i remember seeing it snow once.
