ill post the 00z gfs if im up late enough, or at leeast a rundown.. dont think i can post a pic in here.. i'll just paste the link.. Last time we had a situation like this, was Aug 04, IN upper darby pa we had 8" of rain in about 5 hrs.. crazy.. im sure we wont get that, but just an example.. wasnt that 06 event when the delaware flooded pretty good?

the 18z gfs even had up to 4 inches of rain for philly. This could be a big event if these models are correct. I havent seen rainfall printed out like this since june of 2006

i think its anticipating a squall line to form.. I think it has some convective feedback feeding into it, so we'll have to wait for the gfs to roll.. GFS has done a terrific job this year. Either way, this will be an extremly wet and stormy day tomorrow with high CAPE, LI and strong shear above us... Im suprised the pro-mets havent gotten into this already
