A storm system over the Atlantic brushed the island, and released rain and snow on the island. Total accumulation was light. School was in session. High 37

The previous days storm system sped out of the area by 6 AM, however there were some residual snow showers. High 29

Sunny today. High 37
December 23,1995
Sunny. High 38
Christmas Eve,1995
Snow showers fell for a three hour period, resulting in a two inch accumulation, however the high was 34 degrees.
Christmas Day,1995
Day dawned sunny, and the high was a freezing 32.
Boxing Day, 1995
Snow showers fell and the high was 32.
December 27,1995
Snow Showers. High was 34.
December 28, 1995
Clear. 38 degrees was the high.
December 29, 1995
Clear. 34 Degrees
December 30, 1995
Overcast day. 39 Degrees
New Years Eve, 1995
Sunny start, cloudy finish. 41 Degrees
New Years Day, 1996
Cloudy. 43 Degrees
Interesting day. Rain fell and switched over to snow in the late afternoon. 38 was the actual high, but that was early in the day.
January 3, 1996
Snow switched back to rain. 38 Degrees was the high.
January 4, 1996
Cold front triggered snow showers that dropped a large amont of snow. 27 was the high.
January 5, 1996
Strong NW winds gusted to 46 mph around 6PM. Scattered clouds were the norm, and it was the full moon. High was 25 degrees.
January 6, 1996
A sunny day. High was 18 degrees,
The snow began around 2 PM. The wind creeped around to the NNE, and stayed there. Peak gust was 34 MPH. High today was 29 Degrees.
January 8, 1996
The snow continued and it mixed with rain at times. The largest amount of snow fell on this day. The peak winds were 46 mph, and the high was 34 degrees, but it creeped down to 25 by late afternoon.
January 9, 1996
A break. No school today, as most roads were impassable. High was 32 degrees.
January 10,1996
A smaller version of the above storm ocurred. This was the follow up Alberta Clipper. It dumped ten inches on top of the 17 we recieved from the blizzard of 1996.
