Hey Everyone! If you haven’t heard, we do plan to offer a beta launch for our new community site: MyWeatherLive.com ( MWL) to the current members of RobGuarino.com (RG) early this week. As with any beta launch, we do expect problems to arise & would greatly appreciate any feedback we can get from our current members.

Here are some VERY IMPORTANT Announcements About MyWeatherLive.com:

#1 NEW LOGIN PROCEDURES FOR MWL:

Current RG members will be allowed to sign in to MWL for the first time using your current username. Upon logging in for the first time though, you will receive a prompt asking you to confirm the email address that we have on file for you.

a.) If the email address listed is correct, you need to confirm the address is correct. From that point forward, you only be able to use your email address on file to sign into MWL.

b.) If the email address listed is incorrect, you will be asked to enter a new one & a new verification email will be sent to that email address. Be sure to check your inbox & bulk/ spam folders if you need a verification email sent to you. You may need to wait as long as an hour to get this confirmation email. We are currently working to reduce this wait time for email verifications to your inboxes.

#2 PROFILE PICS:

Unfortunately, we were not able to transfer your profile pics from RG to MWL. You will need to upload up all of your pics again on MWL. However ,you will see a lot more options available for displaying your pics (albums, slideshows, etc) that I think you all will like.


#3 REPORT A PROBLEM LINK:

We are going to be creating a “Report A Problem” Link on the top right hand corner every page of MWL during the beta test.. It will be a simple link to a contact page that will come directly to me. Every message sent via this “Report Problem” link will be read & each issue will be addressed as needed. If you see something, don’t think we know the problem exist because we probably don’t. Assistance from everyone in making this a World Class Weather Community is greatly appreciated.
