Good thursday morning from east Tennessee. Well, it looks like a strong ridge will be setting up in the next few days, which means near summerlike conditions here in the great smokies. Temps by next week, should be climbing into the mid to upper 80's and very little chances of precip. Sounds like the dog days of summer are just around the corner. I just hope we can stay reasonably wet thruout the hot months, and maybe we can get a tropical system or 2  to spread some drought busting rains.
