After a very mild and dry first half of the work week, the Plains will begin to spark up again. A series of storm systems will move through the Viewing area which will in turn produce bouts of Severe Storms, mainly in Western Nebraska Wednesday Night. That area of convective storms will move Eastward into Northern Kansas, rest of Nebraska and Iowa through Thursday Morning. Thursday should be the biggest event out of the bunch. A Low pressure system is expected to develop in the area Thursday and draw northward a warm front through Central and Western Nebraska. The dry line will intersect it and plenty of dynamics will be likely with this storm to produce the chance for Tornado's, Large Hail and Damaging Winds the main threats. The latest computer models shift these storms eastward giving many areas of Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska plentiful rainfall amounts, some exceeding 1.00" of rainfall possible. This active pattern should continue through the Holiday and through next week as finally warm temperatures trickle back into the viewing area.
