THURSDAY NIGHT/FRIDAY
Posted: (May 14, 2008 09:42 am)

Here's how it looks thursday night and friday.  Another storm will be moving towards our area and affecting us thursday night and into friday.  However this time there will not be as much moisture and not as dynamic of a system.  No snow for state college or altoona this time. lol.  Rain showers will begin to develop around the 9pm to 12am time frame.  Rain will begin to develop and become a little more steadier as we move towards morning.  Once again i think this will end in the early afternoon the latest with not as much precipitation.  Rainfall amounts of around .50" to 1.50" in most areas.  We will have the similar Northeast winds as last time but not nearly as strong, only 10-20 mph, with gusts to 25.  It will be another cool day but also much warmer than the last friday system.  Already with the warmer temps you can see there will not be as much precip. With this event.  None the less, another rain storm is on the way, thursday night and into friday.
