I can't see any warm water temps for the shore until late June.. and even then its maybe 70*.... But Wild Wood is a Great Place to go, THE Beach is Huge, Flat and the sand gets pretty hot from the sun!!! The Board-Walk is Excellent and very long, ''Watch The Tram Car Please''!!!!! Go to the Water Parks if the Ocean is to cold....
4 years in Florida, I think the ocean up here is cold even in August. Good luck with a late may swim LOL...stay on the beach and work on that tan would be my advice.
Jackie,
I found some climo for Wildwood. The avg high and low for May is 69 and 53 respectivly. Avg precip is 3.65 inches. The avg water temps vary depending on which may period we're talking about. This data is from Cape May, which is only 4 miles away, but it goes like this: May 1-15 avg temp is 54 May 16-31 avg temp is 58. Currently Cape May buoys are reporting 59.4 degrees. Hope this helps.
