thursday evening is when i believe the best chance of rain will begin.  this will occompany some gust winds at times, with periods of showers and at times heavier.  thunderstorms are also a concern through the night into friday.  i think that thursday night and into friday morning will be the worst and i don't think it will be an all day rain friday.  the way the last few fronts that were supposed to bring all day periods of rain didn't really do much, usually cleared up by afternoon.  the last couple fronts had rain that would end early in the morning around 7 a.m. and the rest of the day wasn't so bad. we will see rain and possibly heavy at times in the morning, we'll see how much of the day will be wet. after the morning rains there will be the chance of afternoon showers thundershowers.  we will have a northeast wind thursday night and friday, shifting as the front moves through to the nnw and eventually wnw.  the ne winds will enhance the chance of showers and drizzle and possible fog especially along the areas along the coast who usually see the persistent drizzle and fog setup, usually along ocean county especially before the rain really arrives.  it will rain thurs. night friday but usually the heaviest rains move to the wnw of our area and up into north jersey and upstate new york.  any rain will help our pollen problems around the area so im hoping for thunderstorms with torrential downpours.  im gonna say between .75 to 1.50 inches of precip possible. if u get hit with a thundershower or storm ur totals will obv. range in the higher amounts and possibly more. heavier rain in some areas south and west of us of up to 2 inches POSSIBLE. we've heard that before haven't we!! let's wait and see how long this rain actually lasts friday.  weekend should be good especially sat. with possible showers for mommy and her day!
