Yeah we have blizzards and thunderstorms in the same state, that's cool, however, I was right about my prediction. The dew point fell, the humidity rose a little, and the temperature dropped. What I'm saying is that any threat of severe weather in my immediate area is slim to none. All of it is south and east in Iowa. Here's what I think happened. I live too far north. The cold air from the system in northwestern Nebraska and South Dakota filtered in while the cap was still in place, making it impossible for anything to really develop. Oh well, maybe next time some action will be around. That's what's exciting about Nebraska in the sping, you never know what you're going to get. Sunny and warm one day and the next it could be snowing. If anything, we may get some rain tonight, maybe a clap of thunder here and there. Nothing exciting for Fremont, NE.
