METS-PHILLIES GAME FRI NIGHT

Can't we all just get along. It was ugly last night at Citizens Bank Park as PART II of the Mets-Phillies series moved to Philly. The Mets fans cam out in hords and they let the Phillies fans know they were there. The problem I had was as soon as Dobbs popped the 3 run homer to get within 1 run they started to come undone. The fan were sitting back the whole game taunting the Phils fan with a comfortable lead until the 7th.
Maybe the Mets fans were a bit sensitive to the meltdown and sweep of their boys last September. Maybe it was they felt too comfortable with the golden boy Santana on the mound. I remember the Mets fan behind me with his Phillies girlfriend. Mets this Mets that and after the 3 run Philly pop well the fans responded back and the out of town fans get a little bent out of shape.
Rule number 1 Mets fans. When you come into Philly be ready to get a boat load of mouth from the fans. If this was Shea I'm sure you would have done the same thing. This same thing happen with the Caps fans last Tuesday when they tied it at 1 late in the first. You mess with a hometown fan, 12 other Philly fans will jump right in. It's a Philly thing and most fans out of town know about the fans by now.
It will be a great series this weekend, no doubt, but if you run your mouth be prepared to deal with 40,000+ fans in your face. That's how it works. Until you take the NL crown away from us, we are still the champs !

IF Boston wins game 7, and flyers advance this is how it goes (2) Pitt vs. (8) Boston (5) Rangers vs. (6) Flyers.

I heard that the Rangers only obtions were either Montreal or Pittsburgh, based on the seedings, but with that said; yes it would be old time 70's hockey if it works out Rangers/Flyers!!!! ''OF course I like MIKE KNUBLE'' !!

I gotta thibnk if we can pull this out Monday and Montreal contunies to fall like they are this would be a Pitt/Boston and Flyers/Rangers matchup. That would be a good one.

I am well aware of the rude, infantile,and absolute DIS-RESPECTING actions in ''most'' sporting arenas. The Met fans die after every loss, or when one pitch doesn't go there way, I here them call into the radio WFAN NY, they, for the most part are never happy, even when their team has a winning product, and I don't understand why any adult can act in such a manner. I respect any body's right to have fun and enjoy the game at hand..When the other team, which you don't root for makes a good play, ''It's OK to appreciate the effort, and say that was a good play'', To the Fan next to you!! It's called ''RESPECT'' I go to the BlueClaws games over here, I'm a Yankee fan, but, yet I root for the BlueClaws, and the crowd is very friendly, and everyone '' RESPECTS'' each other!!!That is a very good place to bring kids to see a game without the foul, hateful venom, that happens in the PRO Ballparks..I'll go one further ''The Flyers Sure Do Look Good Against The Caps'' GOOD LUCK ! ! Now that is coming from a RANGERS FAN!!!
