Quick note on the 12z GFS run.  It shows the first significant storm for the NE as we head into the transitional period of the year.  It cranks a decent inland strom around Halloween with pleny of moisture (rain)  and wind with it.  It will get more fun each week to start looking at the GFS again as it will slowly begin to churn one large storm after another through the rest of fall and winter.
