TO NAME OR NOT TO NAME A STORM
Posted: (September 26, 2008 09:24 am)

A quick note on the low that moved onshore late last night.  I think that the hurricane center may take a closer look at this storm when the hurricane season ends and may actually name it a tropical storm.

That was Tropical Storm Laura with sustained winds of 40mph winds perhaps as high as 50mph. I think it is one of the reason we did not get a lot of rain up here I only measured .25 of rain. The system was hybrid then became tropical another reason we did not see all the wind too. Instead of the storm expanding outward it acutally contracted inward and that is what tropical systems do. looking at the sat. loop, 94L to me looked more organized than most storms so far this year, even now while it is over land, it still looks like a trop storm on the sat.....looking at kyle, he looks like a blob out there..

Jeff Morrow on the TWC said this Earlier Today, and I think It will be Charecterized as a Tropical Cyclone down the Road. I Dubbed this Storm as Hannah Little, because the Similarities are Stark, minus the center coming up the Coast.
