The Sports Forecast
Posted: (April 15, 2008 06:33 pm)

The goal of this blog, and future blogs, is to keep everyone updated on the weather expected for our Mid-Atlantic Region sports teams.  The Professional sports teams will be the main focus, but my hope is to include college sports and other miscellaneous events of interest.  I know one of the ProMets touched on some baseball forecasts in his column, but I would like to also give the forecast for the teams when they are out of town.  Baseball will be the big focus moving forward initially, but football will also be a focus come September.  I love sports, and I love them even more when they are played in the elements.  Drop any suggestions on events you would like added.

Here is the first report, for games of 4/16:

Boston Red Sox at NY Yankees 7:05 PM Yankee Stadium- Gametime Sunny Low to Mid 60's

Houston Astros at Philadelphia Phillies 7:05 PM Citizens Bank Park- Gametime Sunny Mid 60's

Washington Nationals at NY Mets 7:10 PM Shea Stadium- Gametime Sunny Low to Mid 60's

Pittsburgh Pirates at Los Angeles Dodgers 10:10 PM Dodger Stadium- Gametime Sunny Mid to upper 60's

Toledo Mud Hens at LV Iron Pigs 7:05 PM Coca-Cola Park-Gametime Sunny Low 60's

Scranton Wilkes-Barre Yankees at Charlotte Knights 7:15PM Knights Stadium- Gametime Sunny upper 60's
