Good Evening all,

Hurricane Watch has been posted just to the south of the area including the town of Tarpon Springs which is 5 miles south of New Port Richey Florida.

My sister Jen via the cell phone reports that preparations are underway for the approach of what should be Hurricane Fay.

The stores are doing a brisk business and gallon water is leaving the shelves.

My sister reports that at the country club she works at they will be putting the patio furniture into the pool to preclude any lawn furniture from blowing around.

It looks increasingly likely that Fay will move to the Eastern Gulf of Mexico.  Where Fay goes once it reaches that point is still not certain.
