The LRC as I promised

Here is a video link from the man himself, Gary Lezak, exlaining the LRC, and the LRC of 2008.

"It has been a cool and wet spring, and many are wondering if it that pattern will continue through the summer.  The NBC Action Weather team believes it is directly related to the weather pattern that set up months ago.

Just in the past two weeks Kansas City has been hit by two tornados and then in southern Missouri, tornadoes struck with deadly force.

Each year’s weather pattern sets up between October 1st and November 10th, as described by Gary Lezak’s theory, the LRC or Lezak’s recurring cycle.

The LRC has provided the NBC Action Weather Team with a huge forecasting advantage over our competitors, as we have been rated #1 in forecasting accuracy for over half a decade.

This winter we did an experiment on the air, and in the NBC Action Weather Blog, making long range predictions that were amazingly accurate.

When everyone else was expecting it to warm up in January and February, we knew by using the LRC that it would not only stay cold, but the winter storms would just keep coming.

The forecast we made on January 2nd for the next 45 days was almost dead on.

The NBC Action Weather team used the LRC, for our spring forecast that was in the Severe Weather Guide.

This is why we are confident that this pattern continues as summer approaches.   But, will it stay wet, as we move into July and August?

Every year storm systems find a place to strengthen and weaken.  We call this storm brewing a “long term” long wave trough.  One of these storm generating long wave troughs is located just east of Kansas City this year.

This part of the LRC is directly responsible for the flooding, the tornadoes, and the cold weather that has existed for months.

This year, tornado alley shifted a little to the east with this year’s pattern. As summer approaches, the jet stream will retreat.  But, this storm generator will continue in a weakened summer state.

As a result we are forecasting a continuation of a wetter than average weather pattern, and the cooler than average temperatures that will continue through July into August this summer.

We will see temperatures go into the 90s, and there may be a brief heat wave sometime this summer, but overall the cold fronts will likely continue to cool it off according to the LRC."....The NBC Action News Wx Team
