Hurricane Ivan was the worst storm in the 2004 Atlantic hurricane season, killing 124 people and causing upwards of $20 billion in damage. This video was shot from the Cayman islands, one of the worst-hit areas. The damage, according to Governor Dinwiddy, was very severe and widespread. More than a quarter of the buildings on the islands were destroyed, and for several months there was no power. The storm also washed up the graves in the islands, which initially caused confusion on the total death count.
