Early Stages of the Hallam, Nebraska Tornado
This video shows the early stages of what would become the largest tornado in US history--the Hallam, Nebraska tornado of May 2004. At the moment this video was captured it was only less than a mile wide, but winds were already at 100mph. The wedge grew to become about 2.5 miles wide and went on to destroy every house in Hallam. The cool yet eerie thing about this video and this tornado is about 3 minutes into the video you can see the form of a skull in the clouds...You really have to hand it to the guys who take these videos for being brave enough to get this close to a monster, especially one that completely destroyed a town.
