Storm in the Drake Passage

This video was taken aboard a Russian carrier vessel crossing the Drake Passage, between Argentina and the Antarctic Peninsula. The Drake Passage is famous to sailors as the roughest sea on earth, with gigantic waves and severe storms at any given time. This particular storm lasted two days, and the waves went up as high as 14 meters! And according to some experienced people, this is just a normal day in the Drake Passage. There are even worse days! Under no circumstances should anyone sail in these conditions, unless you are confident of your skills or that your boat will never sink.
