Hurricane Charley - Eye Wall
This is another piece of footage taken during Hurricane Charley's rampage over Florida. The video shows the strength of the hurricane's eyewall. Hurricane Charley was a Category-4 hurricane, and is the second worst hurricane since Andrew 12 years earlier. The video just shows how strong the winds are--strong enough to send a large number of debris flying into the air. The components of the debris varied widely from really small to quite heavy, and the things that would concern most people are the heavy ones. A piece of roofing carelessly floating around, for instance, could seriously injure or even kill people at high speeds. Even just the wind itself should be plenty dangerous; it would have had no problem sending anyone flying into the air. The best thing to do during hurricanes is to stay inside a sturdy building.
