Tsunami Wipes out Aceh

This is a video of the tsunami that completely devastated Aceh in Indonesia, killing 130,500 people and displacing 5 times this number. The total damage was estimated at $5 billion, almost equal to the GDP of all of Aceh. The tsunami was caused by a particularly strong earthquake, and as can be seen in the video it was strong enough to wash away several houses and other small buildings. At present Aceh is nothing like what it used to be anymore--the island is smaller, and not as populated as it was. It was a very tragic day indeed.
