Two Men In a Car Swept by Flash Flood
Flashfloods are products of thunderstorms that fall on land that becomes too absorbed with water to hold any more. When flash floods occur it's best to stay out of them, regardless of how safe you feel. Many people foolishly believe that a little flash flood can do no harm if you're in a vehicle. This is an extremely wrong and dangerous assumption. Even as little as 2 feet of flash flood is enough to carry away a SUV. The men in these video were definitely not riding a SUV, and the water is clearly deeper than two feet. But they attempt to cross the flooded path anyway. As expected, they get carried away by the violent current, and their supposedly safe car is tossed and turned by the water. Fortunately they were rescued, but if you ever come across a flash flood do not even try. Flash floods also come suddenly without warning, so it's best to know whether the country you're driving in just went through a thunderstorm.
