Tornado Hits McConnell Air Base

In this video, a violent tornado is shown attacking the McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas, on April 26, 1991, before moving on to Andover. You can clearly hear the tornado sirens, but they were cut off when the tornado cut off the power lines. The tornado entered as a single vortex, but developed multiple vortexes as it left the base. It missed a billion dollars' worth of B-1 bombers, but completely destroyed 9 major facilities in the base, including a hospital and most of the base's service facilities. 102 units were lost and many other facilities received minor damage. 16 were injured, but thankfully there were no deaths, thanks to the weather forecasts, there were no fatalities.
