Typhoon Ponsongwa
This footage is one of the very few of the rarely-documented super typhoon Ponsongwa that hit Guam on the latter part of 2002, costing the US about $840 million in damages. It's shown here blowing apart the extension of a house. The winds of this storm are said to have gone beyond 200 mph, making it stronger than most hurricanes. It's hard to doubt that though, just observe how many things are on the ground after the wind knocked them over or swept them away. Just the sound of the wind itself suggests something extremely strong, and you can actually see how fast it's going by observing the rain being blown sideways. It left the entire island of Guam without electricity and destroyed 1,300 homes. There were no direct deaths, although there was one fatality as a result of flying debris.
