Tropical Storm Gordon

Tropical Storm Gordon was one of the more violent tropical storms ever to hit the US. This video was taken in Miami, Florida, on November 13-16. It was also during this time when Gordon was being slow and erratic. It had a very large windfield, producing extended periods of storm conditions. Its maximum sustained winds were about 50 mph, and with gusts of up to 70 mph. However, in this video the highest winds were just 40 mph (occurs about 4 minutes into the clip). When it left Florida and headed for the Atlantic, it reached hurricane strength off the coast of North Carolina.
