Thuderstorm on Guymon, Oklahoma
Severe thunderstorm near Guymon, Oklahoma on May 15, 2003. This supercell created strong inflow winds, which you can see by observing the wheat field. Somewhere on the distance you can see a distant light go out due to a power outage. Thirty minutes later a tornado formed in Liberal, Kansas. The inflow in the place where this video was recorded was really strong because the photographer was on the southeast side, near the high plains, where the prevailing winds come from. The storm only amplified the winds even further. There is something mesmerizing about this video, especially the way the wheat field is being blown in one direction, and watching the thunderstorm itself.
