Serious Flooding in Branson, Missouri

Because of very heavy rainfall, the lakes around Branson, Missouri experience sever flooding quite frequently. The NWS estimated between 4-5 inches of rain fell in the Brenson area during April 10. Some parts of Arkansas received up to 8 inches of rain. This surge of rainfall forced engineers to release tens of thousands of cubic feet fo water each second from the Table Rock Dam. However they are confident that the dams are doing what they're supposed to do. Still, serious flooding remains a problem in these areas.
