Aerial Footage of a Sydney Tornado
A waterspout in Sydney, Australia unexpectedly turns into a tornado at the end of a bad weather day. Initially thought of to be harmless, the waterspout, as if it had a mind of its own, headed for land and became a tornado. Once it got on land it immediately proceeded to cause destruction, first blowing away a giant roof, shredding parts of it and sending it a few hundred meters into the air. It then harrassed some homes and destroyed power lines before it disappeared. Tornadoes are a rare occurrence in Australia, and even rarer do they get caught on tape. The helicopter crew were lucky to film this spectacle from such a great angle. For weather news, weather reports, and weather videos, go to MyWeatherLive.com.
