Looking over the SPC target zone you can see we have a west to east threat of severe weather.  Most of the activity this morning should be confined to Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.  The biggest risk this morning is FLASH FLOODING from Chicago-South Bend-Cleveland-Toledo-Ann Arbor region.  Later today expect the dynamics to be favorable for large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes in Western Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.

The East Coast north of Virginia Beach also has a chance of isolated storms, with a few becoming severe, esp. in the areas just west of the major cities.
