<title>LOOKING AHEAD TO MONDAY-MONDAY NIGHT SYSTEM (BOSTON TO DC METRO)</title>
<description>Winter is off to a fast start for the east coast, everyone has been colder than normal and for some we are off to the snowiest start in 20+ years. The Lake Streamers pluc upper low dumped 2-4 in some areas of the Philly Metro area today. Some roads were closed as numerous accidents occured as motorists were a little unprepared for the early season snowfall. So the pattern does stay active and next up will be Monday afternoon and evening, November 24.

<title>LAKE SNOW 1-2" HAS FALLEN, SNOW SHOWERS W/UPPER LOW (PHILLY METRO)</title>
<description>SURPRISE ! SURPRISE ! The lake snow in the last 24 hours has dumped 1-2 of snow in some areas of the Delaware Valley. Boyertown in Berks County 2, Skippack in Montoc 2, Media 2 in Delco. That band is now breaking down and is now becoming part of the upper level Low. Expect the snow showers this morning to roll down from State College with a coating to 1 of additional snow. Some of this will mix and change to rain showers by later this morning. Enjoy the early season treat !

<title>N.Y.C., NORTH/CENTRAL NJ, LOWER HUDSON, LONG ISLAND, S.W. CT SNOWFALL TOTALS FOR 2008-2009</title>
<description>We are follwoing the same idea as the Philly Metro area with snowfall totals and colder than normal temps overall. I do think Eastern Long Island could get pounded with a Blizzard sometime in mid to late January. This would more than likely be east of Nassau County with Suffolk County, RI, Eastern CT getting the brunt of the storm.

<title>LAKE SNOW STREAMERS MOST IMPRESSIVE....SNOW SHOWERS LATER (NYC-PHL-DC)</title>
<description>We got a pretty decent snow band from Erie PA to just north of State College to just North of Philly in the Lower Lehigh Valley. This happens on occasion but usually mid and late December not November. Some areas near the Lehigh Valley will see occasional snow showers and a snow squall with up to 1 possible in the next 3 hours. An area of low pressure with a trough will bring more snow showers later tonight and tomorrow. Click here for Doppler Radar. Refer to Friday snow by clicking here.

      <title>WINTER OUTLOOK 2008-2009 PHILLY-SNJ-DE-S.E. PA-LEHIGH VALLEY</title>
<description>So here we are ready to roll into the winter of 2008-2009. The Philly Metro area had a great Championship in the fall classic so maybe just maybe we can have a Championship winter with a Brad Lidge like 1996 Blizzard Blaster ending ! No doubt about it this will be a winter of surprises. Why ? One of the main reasons is no La Nina or El Nino influence. Sure we may get a little LA NINA in the end of the winter but that is only rumor and just too far away to predict at this point so lets move on...</description>

<description>Cold weather has returned in the east and this could be a signal of things to come this winter. expect temps Below normal the next 6-10 days and could go for the next 2 weeks. We are talking up and down the east coast including as far west as Cleveland, Cincinnati and Atlanta. We'll go with another blog as far as the snowfall potential

<title>LA NADA WINTER MEANS YOU TURN TO OTHER SIGNALS</title>
<description>As we here at Myweatherlive begin to put the final pieces of this winter outlook together we are more and more convinced that this will be a LA NADA winter. What that means is not strong signal from LA NINA or EL NINO. We do have some signals of a weak LA NINA toward the end of winter but that looks to be a non-factor at this point. So with no real signal and a LA NADA pattern we are focusing and putting the final touches on the following data.
