You are able to see here there is a extreme drought in the western part of the state. There is some relief in the future though. The drought conditions will improve as a low pressure will move into the area Wednesday night into Thursday morning bringing significant rainfall from mainly an overrunning event. The most northwestern sections of the state could see a change over to light snow on Thursday as the cold Canadian air is ushered in as the low pressure system exits the region. All in all North Dakota will see improvement in their drought conditions.
