2 DAYS OF SEVERE WEATHER

THIS IS THE OUTLOOK FOR TODAY....

We have another West Coast system that will not only bring the PAC NW clouds and showers it will also bring another severe outbreak for the middle part of the country. This is a LA NINA spring and as we continue to get these energized systems we also amp up the tornado/severe weather risk in areas east of the Rocky Mountains.

I see this type of pattern happening all spring long and into Mid June. The La Nina pattern should start to fade off in June and we'll be back to a normal pattern for a few months.  The latest tornado count is about 850+ and will jump to 900 by the end of the weekend.  The normal calendar year says 910 tornadoes hit the USA and the record is about 1400 so we are on course to set a new tornado record this year.

Expect another wild day tomorrow for areas in the Midwest and Southeast with more severe weather again next week across the US. Tomorrow is the big tornado day for NC/SC/GA/FLA and maybe VA again !
