Posted: (November 17, 2008 12:47 am)

Cold weather has returned in the east and this could be a signal of things to come this winter.  expect temps Below normal the next 6-10 days and could go for the next 2 weeks. We are talking up and down the east coast including as far west as Cleveland, Cincinnati and Atlanta.  We'll go with another blog as far as the snowfall potential

Cold For Sure
Posted: (November 17, 2008 06:33 pm) by: KevinReilly

Yep,

It will be cold for sure now how much it snows around here in another issue and is dependent on short waves coming down the pike from the PAC west then trying to turn the corner on the East Coast.

I think the pattern is too progressive and fast for the storms to turn the corner, but time will tell.

NWS is calling for a low to form off the del-mar-va and dump up to an inch in south jersey and delaware. this is evolving like that world series nor'easter.. Same type of set-up with colder air..

The trough does not look like it is west enough to keep us in your criteria for an east coast system..The low would be too far off shore?
