PHILLIES/RAYS GAME 3 STILL A POSSIBLE WASHOUT SAT. NIGHT

As most of you know this far out it's tough to predict a rainout let alone the timing of a weather system.  The GFS continues to hint at a weekend system with rain sometime Saturday night into Sunday.  The latest GFS model does show the rain once again but as mentioned by Mike Defino we could see a dry slot or period of rain after the game Saturday night and before the game Sunday night.  

The GFS has .07" during the game Saturday night, but holds off the .77" of rain for the overnight hours and Sunday through noon time.  

It does have .04" for Sunday night's game but again this would not be a rainout.  You do have to remember that if you shift that rain band by 6 hours you could still have a rainout for Saturday night.  I think since this is only Tuesday we still have to keep an eye on this for the next few days.  This could even be a game day decision at this point.

My thinking is this will shift back and forth as far as the rain on Saturday night.  I do feel that they will play on Sunday and Monday night with any major rain at this point.
