The latest update from the National Hurricane Center still shows Tropical Storm Hannah spinning its wheels east of the Bahama Islands approximately 260 miles north of San Juan Puerto Rico. The system still remains poorly organized at this time but that is expected right now. Hannah should be getting her act together this weekend.
Right now the forecasted track is for Hannah to make a complete left turn. The forecast models continue Hannah on a northwest course over the next 12 to 24 hours before turning west-northwest by Sunday and eventually southwest by Monday. This track would threaten the Turks and Caicos Islands. I personally like the forecasted track up until the point that it turns southwest. I dont believe this is going to happen. I think once it turns west it will stay on that course or maybe a slight shift west-southwest at some point. But it will not be as dramatic as what the NHC is currently showing.
In my opinion southern Florida continues to be the target. If I had to make an exact call at this time I would say Miami southward through the Glades and Keys and then into the Gulf. At that point its up in the air.
The 11:00 pm advisory has maximum sustained winds of 50 mph with some higher gusts. Hannah is moving off to the west-northwest at 14 mph with an estimated pressure of 1002 mb. Tropical Storm force winds extend outward up to 115 miles from the center of the storm.Someof the rain bands with Hannah are forecasted to produce as much as 1to 3 inches of rain in the Leeward Islands.

Is Mobile is Hannah's path - if so, when would she come?

to NHC, strong Northwesterly winds will limit Hanna from strengthening over the next 72 hours or so. Your thoughts?
