Here is the latest info for New England and the dual weather systems the next few days. The LOW at the Carolina Coast is the main element right now but as the HIGH over New England slides away the winds and rain will create a draw from the Atlantic Ocean.

The problem has increased for Long Island and Central and Western CT. The numbers have come up today and this could be a serious situation for areas that normally flood. This system does have some tropical kick to it and that can add another inch to the totals. This needs to be watched the next few days.
