The staff at Myweatherlive is tracking a wet storm system off the Carolina Coast today. It will ride up the coast with rain and wind the next few days, and could have some impact on voting for areas South of Philadelphia. The computer models are printing out from .50" to 1.00" of rain so this is not a big deal at this point for Philyy Metro. DC to Richmond VA shows 1.00" to 1.50" of rain, again not enough for flooding. Further north NYC to Boston show about the same amount of rain about .50" to .75" at this point.
We do have GALE WARNINGS off the coast but this is not a big event and looks to be nothing more than rain & breezy weather mid and late week. Check back tomorrow for the NOVEMBER OUTLOOK FOR ALL REGIONS. The Winter Outlook is only 15 days away.

...HIGH THREAT OF RIP CURRENTS FOR ALL AREAS BEACHES TUESDAY...
STRONG EAST TO NORTHEAST WINDS COMBINED WITH LARGE AND CHOPPY
SURF WILL CREATE A HIGH THREAT OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG AREA BEACHES
ON TUESDAY.
RIP CURRENTS ARE STRONG...NARROW CHANNELS OF WATER THAT FLOW OUT
TO SEA. IF YOU BECOME CAUGHT IN A RIP CURRENT...REMAIN CALM. TRY
TO SWIM ON A COURSE THAT IS PARALLEL TO THE BEACH UNTIL YOU GET
AWAY FROM THE RIP...THEN SWIM IN TO SHORE. DO NOT TRY TO SWIM
BACK TO SHORE DIRECTLY AGAINST THE RIP...SINCE IT CAN EXHAUST AND
EVEN KILL THE STRONGEST SWIMMER. ALWAYS HEED THE ADVICE OF
LIFEGUARDS. PAY ATTENTION TO FLAGS AND SIGNS POSTED NEAR BEACH
ACCESS POINTS AND LIFEGUARD STATIONS.
THE GREATEST THREAT OF RIP CURRENTS IS AROUND THE TIME OF LOW
TIDE...WHICH IS AROUND 5 AM TUESDAY MORNING AND AGAIN AROUND
6 PM TUESDAY EVENING.

At least that is what I am thinking. Just look what's going on out west and that will draw a better picture of what is headed to the east coast.
