SNOW SHOWERS & LIGHT SNOW UPDATE NYC TO D.C. METRO (FRIDAY EVENT)
Posted: (November 20, 2008 09:56 am)

So here we are looking at snow flurries, snow showers and even a period of light snow for the next 24-36 hours.  This is interesting weather this early in the season so let's get another update for you. If you are viewing from NYC and the Baltimore/Washington DC area your Winter Outlook will be out by 6pm today, I got a little behind with current weather and potential for snow short and long term, thanks for your patience.

It really starting to come down in Western PA, Western NY and NE Ohio as Winter Storm Warnings are up for Lake Effect Snow. We have a Low near NYC this afternoon with a TROUGH pushing through the snow zone in NY/PA. Could this trough punch a little more snow down toward the big cities of NYC, Philly, DC and Baltimore....MAYBE ?

The models are squeezing out some snow later today- tomorrow. So how much are the models showing ? What is Myweatherlive calling for?

What about us peninsula dwellers, south of the canal? We can be three or more weather events all at once! ;-)

Hey Bonus snow gotta love it would have been more if the storms were not too far off the East Coast.

I will take 1/2 to 1 inch snow from a northwest flow that is mighty impressive alone.

Kevin
