I am a Junior (as of the Summer 2008 semester) at California University of Pennsylvania, majoring in meteorology. My love of weather and weather forecasting comes from my childhood fear of thunderstorms. When I was young, thunderstorms used to scare me to no end, often forcing me to run and hide in the basement.
