A broadcast veteran of just over 16 years, I am currently the Chairman of the Broadcast Meteorology Committee for the National Weather Association. I am also the Meteorological Consultant and Forecaster for the Richmond Braves baseball team, AAA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. My past history includes work at three television stations, WMGC-TV (now WIVT-TV) in Binghamton, NY, WROC-TV in Rochester, NY and most recently Chief Meteorologist for 10 years at Richmond's CBS affiliate.

I currently run my own web site serving Central Virginia (www.mike-goldberg.com) and look forward to overseeing the South Atlantic region here on MyWeatherLive.com. You'll get lots of useful information here regarding severe weather, tropical weather and daily forecasts for events in the region including MLB and AAA baseball games!
