Hello, My name in Alex Pickman. I am 17 years old, and am a wannabe meteorologist. I got interested in weather when I was in 5th grade, and saw my first supercell thunderstorm as our family was driving back from Montana in Caldwell County, Missouri. I saw my first tornado a few years before as it swept across the country side, just outside of Marceline, Missouri, where I live. The tornado leveled a couple houses, but I do not remember it's rating.

I am wanting to go to college at Missouri Western State University to Wildlife Biology; and Wildlife Conservation and Management. I got interested in animals, and Conservation from years of watching Steve Irwin (RIP) on TV. I want to become a herpetologist, and specialize in helping endangered species.

Back in Feburary, I was looking around the internet, and found Freewebs.com, and I thought maybe I could create my own website. It started out just being a blog, but it has drastically improved over the last several months, and I am always looking for more stuff to add to it. The site is www.freewebs.com/alexpickman .
